Summer Camp "Lock-In"
During our Youth Summer Camp, participants worked closely with a certified teacher who designed a customized curriculum specifically for them. This curriculum was crafted to teach essential skills and provide a variety of opportunities for growth, exploration, and hands-on learning. It aimed to teach core concepts, encourage critical thinking, and provide diverse opportunities for enrichment, engagement, and personal development. After each session, the youth participated in a field trip as a reward for their hard work and dedication — work hard, play hard! On the last day, we wrapped up the camp with an exciting lock-in, giving everyone a chance to celebrate, bond, and make memories that would last long after the summer ended.
Sneaker Ball | 8/12/23
Our Sneakerball brought the community together for an unforgettable evening. From games and a youth-led fashion show to vendors sharing their products and stories, the event highlighted creativity, confidence, and the power of young entrepreneurship.
Glow Party |
7/30/24
Our Glow Party allowed the scholars to shine light, like the gems they are. The scholars showed us what happens when you create a safe space for them to grow, glow, and be themselves. They danced, laughed, and glowed all night, reminding us why we do this work.
