Meet Our Co-Founder, Aniah
Aniah, the Co-Founder of I’m H.I.P., has been the driving force and inspiration behind the organization's mission to make a lasting difference in the community. Her leadership, dedication, and vision have consistently strengthened the organization's impact.

Before college, Aniah was a committed student in the UMSL Bridge Program for over two years. She dedicated her summers to college prep programs, a sacrifice that shaped her decision to pursue a career in Computer Science and Engineering. That dedication opened doors to multiple college opportunities and set the foundation for her future.

Today, Aniah is a proud student at Alabama A&M University, where she is continuing to excel academically and personally. She graduated from Ritenour High School as the Commencement Speaker, highlighting her commitment to leadership and excellence early on. At AAMU, she has seized opportunities to grow, serve, and lead - from representing the university as a Red Bull Student Ambassador to actively participating in various organizations.

Aniah's journey reflects more than just her personal accomplishments. She is committed to inspiring and paving the way for others. Inspiring students to embrace higher education and showing that success is built on dedication, resilience, and service.

Meet Our Founder, Taion
Taion Irby-Cosby serves as the Executive Director of I’m HIP Youth Organization, a
nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities. With a passion for shaping the next generation of leaders, Taion brings a unique blend of vision, leadership, and hands-on experience to the role. Drawing on a background in childcare, business management, nursing, business administration, accounting, and community development, Taion has spent her entire adult life building programs that equip young people with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to succeed. Under Taion’s leadership, the organization has expanded its reach, developed innovative programs, and strengthened community partnerships to better serve youth and their families.
Beyond organizational leadership, Taion is an advocate for equity and access, ensuring that every young person has the chance to thrive. Known for her strategic vision and collaborative approach, Taion works closely with board members, staff, and community partners to create sustainable impact. Under Taion’s leadership, I’m HIP continues to grow its reach and impact, building programs that empower young people to explore their potential, develop critical skills, and embrace a vision for their future. Taion’s guiding belief is that every young person deserves access to the tools and opportunities necessary for success, regardless of their background. Committed to helping young people unlock their full potential, Taion leads with integrity, purpose, compassion, and a deep belief that every youth deserves access to opportunities that can shape their future and transform their communities.
